These Banks Provides the Most Interest Rate than Others !

Kathmandu : Seven commercial banks are going to give the highest interest in the month of October. As the month of Great Festival 2080 Dashain is coming soon, seeing the potential of increase in amount of loans demand, they might have made this decision, so that they won’t have financial issues in banks. There are going to be 7 bank options in October for those who want to pay interest by keeping money in fixed deposits. These banks will give more interest in October than in August.

Prime, Nabil, Everest, Himalayan, Nepal Investment Mega, Nepal SBI and Standard Chartered Bank are among the banks that give more interest in October. Prime Bank has the highest interest rate. Prime Bank is going to give interest up to 11.36 percent on term deposits to individuals. The bank has increased interest by 0.86 percent in October compared to August.Nabil Bank is going to give 11.05 percent interest. This is 0.56 percent more than in August. Everest Bank is going to give 11.05 percent interest in October.

This is 1.05 percent more than in August.Himalayan Bank is going to give 11.05 percent interest to depositors in October. The bank has increased interest by 1.06 percent in October compared to August.Nepal Investment Mega Bank has increased interest by 1.04 percent compared to August and started giving 11.05 percent on fixed deposits.

Similarly, SBI Bank is going to give 10 percent interest in October. Which is 0.01 percent higher than in August. Standard Chartered Bank has also increased the interest rate in October compared to August. The bank has increased interest by 0.37 percent compared to August and will give 9.29 percent interest in October.

Banks have been having different interest rates since August, after breaking the agreement made by the banks on interest rates since July. Banks have been setting their own interest rates since July.Banks change the deposit interest rate by 10 percent on average. Seven banks have increased interest rates accordingly.
