After the Mid of October, Insurance Agents must Pass the Examination of Authority

Kathmandu : The Insurance Authority is going to conduct the examination of insurance agents from the mid of October. The Authority has given a letter with this information to all life insurance companies on 28th September 2023 A.D.

In the letter, it has been mentioned that since the authority will conduct the examination of insurance agents from the mid of October 2023 the agent registration process will be closed in the IRAMS system from the date 12th October 2023 A.D.

According to the Insurance Act, there is a provision that the insurance intermediary must have passed the prescribed examination before obtaining the license, on that basis the examination of the insurance agent is about to be conducted. After this rules, now everyone should pass this examination in order to become an insurance agent.
