NIC Asia Bank’s 26th Annual General Meeting Passed 30 Percent Dividend
Kathmandu. The 26th Annual General Meeting of NIC Asia Bank Limited has been completed. The meeting was held at the Army Officers Club in Bhadrakali, Kathmandu under the chairmanship of Tulsiram Agarwal, Chairman of the Bank.
The meeting approved 29 percent bonus shares (Rs.3 billion 353 million 561 thousand 5 hundred 56) and 1.5263 percent cash dividend (Rs.176 million 503 thousand 2 hundred 40) of the bank’s paid-up capital from the profit and accumulated profit of the last financial year. It has passed a resolution to approve distribution for dividend tax purposes as well.
In addition, the 26th annual general meeting of the bank has discussed and approved the general proposals including the report of the board of directors for the last financial year 2022 A.D. The auditor’s report includes the balance sheet up to the mid of 2024 A.D, and also the profit and loss account and the cash flow statement.
The meeting has discussed and passed the special proposal including making contemporary amendments to the bank’s charter and regulations.The bank has expanded 360 branch offices, 613 ATMs, 109 extended counters and 61 branchless branch networks across the country.
