Sharp Decline in the Insurance Sector After Dashain, Which Company’s Share Price Decreased

Kathmandu : On Sunday, the first day of trading, NEPSE decreased by 28 points and remained at 1875 points. With the double-digit decline in NEPSE, the insurance sector has also seen a sharp decline.

Life insurance :  On Sunday, the life insurance index decreased by 197.12 points to 9781.89 points. Today, when the life insurance sub-index fell by 1.97 percent, the share prices of all 11 companies in the life insurance sector fell sharply.

Today, the share price of IME Life Insurance has decreased the most by 3.09 percent, while the share price of Nepal Life Insurance has decreased the most by 1.23 percent.

Similarly, today the share price of Himalayan Life was traded at the lowest price of Rs.388, while the share price of Life Insurance Corporation was traded at the highest price of Rs.1,325.

Non-life Insurance :On Sunday, the non-life insurance index decreased by 192.72 points to 9601.21 points. The non-life insurance sub-index also declined by 1.96 percent Today, the share price of all the 12 companies in the business has decreased due to a sharp decline in the non-life insurance sector.

Today, the share price of Himalayan Everest Insurance has decreased the most by 5.14 percent, while the share price of Neco Insurance has decreased the most by 0.86 percent.

Similarly today, the share price of Sanima GIC was traded at the lowest price of 439 rupees while the share price of National Insurance Company was traded at the highest price of 13 thousand rupees.
