Kumari Capital’s Special “Investor Awareness Program” Completed

Kathmandu : Kumari Capital organized a special investor awareness program on the occasion of “World Investment Week 2023” and completed it by promoting financial literacy among local investors. In the event, Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON), Kumari Capital’s Head of Investment Banking Mamin Shakya and Kumari Capital’s Head of Merchant Banking, Sabin Budhathoki had participated.

This investor awareness program was organized in collaboration with Palpa-based Kumari Bank and Palpa-Tansen branch in order to inform the local investors living in Tansen of Palpa about the potential benefits of participating in the stock market and making investment decisions. Representing SEBON, Basanta Rasali during his addressing speech emphasized the importance of regulatory compliance and responsible investment.

He provided insight into the regulatory framework governing Nepal’s securities market and encouraged the participants to explore investment opportunities following the guidelines laid down by SEBON. In the Program, Mamin Shakya, Head of Investment Banking, Kumari Capital shared valuable insights on stock market investment strategies and discussed the long-term benefits of investing in securities.

He emphasized the importance of successful investment portfolio building, risk management and diversification. The investor awareness program was conducted in active participation of local investors who eagerly engaged in discussions and raised questions about stock market investments.
