Impressive Trading of Insurance Companies in the Stock Market
Kathmandu : This week, the share trading in the insurance sector has closed green. On Thursday, 23rd November, 2023 A.D the stock market increased by 9.87 points to 1860.20.
Shares of 23 insurance companies were traded on that day. In which the share price of only 1 company out of 23 companies decreased, until the business was closed at the end of the week. The life insurance and non-life insurance sub-indices listed on the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) closed in the green. On Thursday, the life insurance sub-index increased by 3.37 percent and the non-life insurance sub-index increased by 1.86 percent. Life Insurance Company :
On 23rd of November, 11 life insurance companies were traded in NEPSE. In which the share price of all 11 companies has increased. According to NEPSE, the share price of Reliance Life has increased by the highest percentage in the last week of trading this week. The share price of the company increased by 8.25 percent and traded at Rs.459.
Similarly, shares of LIC Nepal were traded at Rs.1,355, Nepal Life at Rs.656, Asian Life at Rs.618, National Life at Rs.555 and Suryajyoti Life at Rs.496. Non-Life Insurance Company :On the last day of the tradingthis week, 12 Non-Life Insurance were traded in NEPSE. Among them 11 non-life insurance companies’ share value had increased whereas only 1 company’s share value had decreased.According to NEPSE Sanima Gic Insurance Co-operative Limited share value has been increased most by 6.31 %.
Similarly, shares of the government-owned National Insurance Company were traded at 13,220 rupees. Which is the highest among non-life insurance companies.
On the last day of trading this week (24 November), Neco Insurance traded at Rs .792, Nepal Insurance at Rs .784, Shikhar Insurance at NLG Insurance at Rs .711 and Salico at Rs.711. Apart from these, the business of other insurance companies was less than 700 rupees.
had the highest rate on the share trading which is 13220 Rupees. This is the highest share trading among the Non-Life Insurances.
