National Commercial Bank has been Honored
Kathmandu: In the banking business of National Commercial Bank, significant progress has been made in technology-based digital business on filing system which started on 10th January 2022 A.D.
Among the commercial banks of Nepal, the government bank National Commercial Bank has succeeded in doing the most flexible digital (electrical) business.
In this context, Nepal Clearing House Limited, the operator of Nepal’s payment system, on the occasion of its 15th anniversary, has honored National Commercial Bank as the bank with the most digital transactions among the banks of Nepal on Sunday, 24th December, 2023 A.D.
During a special program, the Governor of Central Bank, Maha Prasad Adhikari presented the award to the Chief Executive Officer of the Bank, Kiran Kumar Shrestha.
On this occasion, the bank’s CEO Kiran Kumar Shrestha stated that the bank was able to achieve this achievement because the bank has invested enough in technology and mentioned that now the National Commercial Bank has moved from the traditional system to digitalization.
He said that the bank is also working under the IT enhancement roadmap to introduce core banking software based on international advanced banking technology. He also requested all the customers to use banking services confidently as the bank is providing modern digital banking services.
Currently, this bank has been providing services through 285 branch offices, 269 ATMs, 99 branch with banking services and 69 extension counters located all over the country including the headquarters of 77 districts of all 7 provinces.
