National Life’s Employee Skill Enhancement workshop completed
Kathmandu : With the slogan “Excel and Elevate 2024 A.D. National Life Insurance Company has completed a three-day “Employee Skill Enhancement Workshop” at Hotel Soaltee Westend Resort located in Chitwan.
The conference was held under the chairmanship of Suresh Prasad Khatri, the chief executive officer of the company, with the aim of training them with the business goals and strategies set for the coming year, after considering various current aspects related to the life insurance business.
Inaugurating the training program with the participation of more than 200 people including heads of departments and administrative employees from all over the country, Chief Executive Officer Suresh Prasad Khatri said that in the current situation where the insurance business is not becoming more competitive and complex, administrative employees have the same role as marketing employees to achieve the company’s business goals through their efficiency, hard work and mutual coordination. He said that maximum efforts should be made.
Also, since the best results can be obtained from skilled employees, the company promised to invest in improving the capabilities of the employees. The well-known motivational speaker Mansi Agarwal, who participated in the program, provided training on motivational and skill development to the employees, and asked them to be aware that all employees are brand ambassadors of the company and that everyone should be responsible for the promotion of the company.
On this occasion, an interaction program was also held between department heads and administrative employees with the aim of identifying and facilitating various problems while completing the administrative tasks of the company.
Similarly, Hridayeshwar Pandit, Head of Far-western Province of Nepal Insurance Authority, a regulatory body, urged everyone to be aware of the fact that wealth can be laundered under various pretexts by making insurance as a means, and said that it is the duty of all of us to stop terrorist financing for the sake of national interest.
In order to check the efficiency of the employees, an examination of the participating administrative staff was conducted. The Chief Executive Officer honored Suraksha Singh, Chudamani Gautam and Khagendra Shrestha with cash prizes who became first, second and third respectively in the examination.
Similarly, 5 administrative employees who performed excellent work from across the country, Om Prakash Pandey of Mahendranagar branch, Mina Chaudhary of Tulsipur branch, Roshan Shakya of Kalanki branch, Bandita Dhakal of Itahari branch and Navaraj Thapa Magar of central office were also honored and rewarded by Chief Executive Officer Suresh Prasad Khatri in the program.
