The office of Nepalgunj sub-metropolitan-1 has entered into an agreement with Guardian Micro Life to insure poor worker

Kathmandu : The office of Nepalgunj sub-metropolitan ward no-1, The office of Guardian micro life insurance limited has going to provide insurance for poor workers. The ward office has started providing short term life insurance up to one lakh to the underprivileged workers living in their ward.

For that, an agreement has been made with Guardian Micro Life Insurance Limited. In the presence of Ward Secretary Bhuwindra Prasad Kandel, Guardian Micro Life Insurance Nepalgunj Manager Laxmi Bista, Ward President Pramod Rizal and Regional Manager of Insurance Bimal Khadka signed the contract on Tuesday.

According to the agreement, people between the ages of 18 and 55 will be insured. 279 rupees for 18 years old and 1 thousand 135 rupees for 55 years old. Ward president Rizal said that the ward office will pay the amount and provide insurance for the underprivileged workers.

The regional micro life insurance manager Khadka said that, if the insured dies due to an accident under the life insurance policy of Rs.225 thousand amount of premium his family will handover.  This insurance will be for one year. If you want to do it next year, you will be insured again.
