Insurance policy gifted to wife on the occasion of Marriage Anniversary

Kathmandu: The practice of giving gifts to relatives on auspicious occasions such as weddings, birthdays, anniversary etc. has been going on since many years. In order to cover his wife’s savings and life risks, on the occasion of their marriage anniversary, Dolraj Khanal, a resident of Bardaghat-4, provided ‘Citizen Subhaarmbha Life Insurance’ as a gift to his spouse Sita Khanal.

Khanal said that life insurance was given as a gift to solve financial problems in life and to have mandatory savings. He said, “Rather than a traditional gift, I gave an insurance policy as a gift on the occasion of the marriage anniversary so that it would be used and remembered for years.”

In this modern era, with the change in the type of gifts given on the occasion of wedding vows, rice-feeding ceremony, and marriage anniversary, Khanal also made a positive attempts and provided insurance policy as a gift to his wife.
