National Life Provided 500 Thousand Rupees to the Insured who was Suffering from Terminal Illness
Kathmandu : National Life Insurance has handed over a cheque for treatment expenses to the insured who has a fatal disease (cancer) by reaching his home. Santosh Limbu, the agent of the company went to the house of the insured Bhoj Bahadur Rai and handed over the cheque.
Rai, a resident of Dhankuta Sangurigadhi-2, took life insurance in the company on 31 Ashar 2077. He had taken ”Amrit advance payment” and ”Aajeevan insurance plan” of 500 thousand Rupees of 15 years term.
The annual insurance fee was paid in 2 installments at the rate of 54 thousand 190 and 2 installments at the rate of 29 thousand 190 in total 4 installments. Insured Rai was found to have health problems and was diagnosed with gallbladder cancer.
Limbu, the agent of the company, handed over a cheque of 500 thousand Rupees to Rai for the medical expenses. His life insurance is continuous. After completion of 15 years, insurance and bonus will be received by the insured himself. Life insurance remains free of premium after payment of mature claims.
After the death of the insured, the insurance contract will be terminated only after the beneficiary receives 500 thousands Rupees by the company.
