6 New Directors elected Unopposed in SALICO

Kathmandu : Sagarmatha Lumbini Insurance has elected 6 new directors. The 27th annual general meeting of the company elected 4 representatives from the founder group and two representatives from the general group unopposed.

Among the four directors representing the founding group in the company’s board of directors, Ajith Rohan Gunawadana , CEO of Ceylinco Insurance PLC from Sri Lanka as well as a foreign investor, has been nominated as a meritorious director as per the provisions of the company’s regulations.Similarly, Manohar Das Mool, Lokmanya Golchha and Siddhartha Mani Rajbhandari were elected unopposed among the remaining 3 directors. Similarly, Arun Raj Shrestha and Bijan Bhattarai were elected unopposed from the group of common shareholders.

Manohar Das Mool has been re-elected unopposed as the chairman of the board of directors by the Annual General Meeting of SALICO.
