Insurance Authority’s Server Down, Agent Exam in Confusion

Kathmandu; Cause of Nepal Insurance Authority server obstruction the examines is confusion to give  exams. The Insurance Authority while launched a new website the website  server is obstruction Agents and surveyors have to face problems due to created during the new website of the authority which keeps detailed updates of insurance agents and surveyors exams.

The authority informed that the server which was shut down after 25 participants of the first session of the exam to be held at 12 o’clock today, is being maintained. As the Nepal Insurance Authority has not given any information to the agents who are going to participate in the examination, the examinees are in confusion.

Krishna Subedi, an examinee participating in the examination, has informed Bimapost that due to the immature decision of the insurance authority, the insurance agent has faced problems many times. They have also complained that the complete data has been wasted on the new website which was introduced while emphasizing on the latest technology.

Also, on the new website of the Authority, information can be obtained in Nepali and English languages ​​and the provision of online complaint hearing and chatbot as well as insurance message, insurance literacy and other materials are not shown on this website.

There are complaints from users that old data is not found in the new system. Even in the monthly financial statements submitted by the insurance authority, all the old data are not kept.

When the new website of the Nepal Insurance Authority, a regulatory body built at a cost of around four lakhs, became defaced, not only insurance agents but also insured, insurers and insurance experts have complained about this issue.
