Nepal Reinsurance Company Celebrates 11th Anniversary with Grand “Walkathon”

Kathmandu – Nepal Reinsurance Company marked its 11th anniversary with a grand “Prabhat Feri” program on Wednesday morning. The Wednesday early morning procession, starting from Bhrikutimandap at 7 a.m., wound through prominent city landmarks including Bhadrakali, Dharahara, and Ratnapark, concluding back at Bhrikutimandap.

Employees from various non-life insurance companies, micro-insurance providers, and Nepal Reinsurance Company joined the procession, creating a vibrant display of solidarity and awareness. Participants carried wooden boards with slogans promoting social awareness around insurance adding meaningful and vibrant dimension to the program.

Chief Executive Officer Surendra Thapa welcomed attendees, emphasizing the essential role of reinsurance in supporting the broader insurance industry and enhancing financial resilience whereas, Dr. Devraj Dhungana, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Nepal Reinsurance Company, concluded the event with remarks on the interconnected roles of non-life insurance companies and reinsurance providers describing them as, “Two sides of the same Coins”.
