Shikhar Insurance Requests Timely Submission of Pending Claim Documents

Kathmandu – Shikhar Insurance Company Limited has issued a notice urging policyholders who have applied for claims to submit the required documents to resume the assessment and payment process.

The company disclosed that claims filed between August 31 and November 30 have been stalled due to the absence of necessary documents and a lack of communication from the insured or their representatives. As a result, the claim process has been put on hold.

To expedite the settlement of pending claims, Shikhar Insurance has requested insured individuals to provide all required documents to the central claims department, provincial offices, branch offices, or the assigned surveyor within 35 days. The company emphasized that claims will only be processed upon receipt of the complete documentation.

The notice published on December 7 further clarified that failure to submit the required documents within the stipulated period will lead to the closure of the respective claim files, making the insured ineligible for further processing.
