Nepal Life Insurance Announces New Bonus Rates for Policyholders
Kathmandu – Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited has introduced its latest bonus rates for policyholders, following approval from the Nepal Insurance Authority on December 27. The new rates, determined based on the company’s financial review and actuarial report for the fiscal year 2080/81, will remain effective until the next actuarial valuation.
According to the company, policyholders of term life insurance plans will receive bonuses ranging from Rs 60 to Rs 82 for per thousand rupees, depending on the duration of their insurance policies. These rates apply to plans such as Surakshit Jeevan Beema, Jeevan Jyoti, Gramin Sawadik Jeevan Beema, Ketakati Sunaulo Bhabishya Jeevan Beema, Sikshya Jeevan Beema, Jeevan Laxmi, and Jeevan Udaya Ekal Jeevan Beema.
Similarly, policyholders of the Naulo Surakshit and Naulo Keta Keti Life Insurance plans will receive bonuses of Rs 65 to Rs 82. For the Samunnat Jeevan Beema Yojana, the bonus rate has been set between Rs 56 and Rs 70.
Policyholders under term life insurance plans, including Surakshit Jeevan, Jeevan Jyoti, Gramin Sawadik Jeevan Beema, and others, will receive bonuses ranging from Rs 60 to Rs 82, depending on the policy duration. Bonuses for Naulo Surakshit and Naulo Keta Keti Life Insurance plans range from Rs 65 to Rs 82, while the Samunnat Jeevan Beema Yojana offers Rs 56 to Rs 70.
In the Sunaulo Bhabishya Life Insurance Plan, bonuses are Rs 60 to Rs 65, with Rs 55 to Rs 60 for the single premium option. Keta Keti Sunaulo Bhabishya Insurance Plan offers Rs 60 to Rs 62, and Jeevan Sahara and Anmol Jeevan Beema Insurance plans range from Rs 60 to Rs 82. Advance payment plans have a fixed bonus of Rs 56, while Jeevan Sarathi Yojana bonuses range from Rs 62 to Rs 85.
These interim rates will remain applicable until the company conducts its next actuarial valuation.
