Insurance Authority to Fill Key Vacancies Following PSC Approval
Kathmandu – The Insurance Authority is set to fill its long-standing vacant positions, including the post of Executive Director, through an internal promotion process. This decision follows the Public Service Commission’s (PSC) recent approval for the Authority to proceed with the recruitment of new personnel.
The move will see the appointment of more than 20 officials across various roles, including Executive Director, Director, Deputy Director, Assistant Director, and Subba. Among the current directors—Kamal Regmi, Sushil Subedi, and Pujan Dhungel, the senior-most will be promoted to the post of Executive Director.
In addition to this, four Deputy Directors will be elevated to the rank of Director. Six Assistant Directors will also be promoted to Deputy Director positions, with two promotions from the Legal Department based on file reviews and four from the Administration Department, three of which will be file-based and one through internal competition.
The Authority has also planned to fill some positions, such as Assistant Director and Subba, through an open competition alongside internal promotions. A formal public notice will be published in ’Gorkhapatra’ Newspaper to initiate the process, adhering to the PSC guidelines.
