Oriental Insurance Invests Rs 3.33 Billion Across Various Sectors

Kathmandu – Oriental Insurance Company Limited has invested a total of Rs 3.33 billion in various sectors by the end of the first quarter of the current fiscal year, according to data released by the Nepal Insurance Authority.

The majority of the company’s investments have been made in term deposits with ‘A’ class banks, amounting to Rs 2.72 billion.

In addition, the company has invested Rs 160 million in term deposits with ‘B’ class banks. Investments in preference shares, bonds, and debentures issued by ‘A,’ ‘B,’ and ‘C’ class banks and financial institutions amount to Rs 272 million. The company has also allocated Rs 70 million to government savings certificates or debentures.
