Insurance Awareness Programs Conclude in Sankhuwasabha
Kathmandu – Two insurance-focused discussion and interaction programs were successfully conducted in Chichila Rural Municipality, Sankhuwasabha district. Organized in collaboration with the Nepal Insurance Authority, the programs were held at the Chichila Rural Municipality office and Saraswati Secondary School.
The events were chaired by Rajendra Maharjan, Assistant Director of the Nepal Insurance Authority, with Pasang Nurbu Sherpa, Chairman of Chichila Rural Municipality, and Vice Chairman Manakala Rai as special guests. Ward chairpersons, teachers, farmers, employees, and students attended in large numbers.
Speaking at the event, Chairman Sherpa emphasized the importance of insurance for everyone and urged residents to secure insurance coverage. He expressed gratitude to the Nepal Insurance Authority for organizing the program. Vice Chairman Rai also appreciated the initiative, describing it as a historic step. She encouraged citizens to adopt life and agricultural insurance, highlighting the limited awareness beyond mandatory insurance.
Assistant Director Rajendra Maharjan delivered presentations on key topics, including the importance of insurance, its types, and risk management. The sessions aimed to enhance public understanding of insurance and its benefits.
