Five Candidates Shortlisted for Chairmanship of Nepal Insurance Authority
Kathmandu – The government-formed selection committee has announced a shortlist of five candidates for the position of chairman of the Nepal Insurance Authority.
The shortlisted candidates include Kamal Prasad Regmi, current director of the Insurance Authority; Chiranjivi Chapagai, former chairman of the Insurance Authority; Damodar Basaula, former executive director of the Health Insurance Board; Ramsharan Pudasaini, former secretary; and Sharad Ojha, a journalist.
The selection committee will further evaluate the candidates before making the final appointment for the leadership position of the regulatory body overseeing Nepal’s insurance sector.
