Shikhar Insurance to Hold 20th AGM Today, Proposes 10% Bonus Shares

Kathmandu – Shikhar Insurance Company Limited is conducting its 20th Annual General Meeting (AGM) today at 11 AM at its central office in Thapathali, Kathmandu.

As per the board of directors’ decision, the AGM will discuss a proposal to distribute a 10% bonus share of the current paid-up capital and a 0.5263% cash dividend to cover tax obligations. Additionally, the financial statements, including the previous year’s annual report, will be presented for approval. The meeting will also finalize the appointment of an auditor for the current year, determine remuneration, approve expenses, and authorize the board to change the company’s registered office address.

The company had closed its book on January 12 for the AGM and dividend distribution. Only shareholders holding shares until January 11 are eligible to participate and receive dividends.
