Sanima Reliance Life Insurance to Close Books for Dividend Distribution Today

Kathmandu – Today marks the last opportunity for shareholders of Sanima Reliance Life Insurance Limited to secure the proposed dividend. The company will close its books tomorrow (March 10) for the purpose of its eighth annual general meeting (AGM) and dividend distribution. Only shareholders holding shares until today will be eligible to participate in the meeting and receive the dividend.
The company has proposed to distribute a 1.2489% bonus share and an 8% cash dividend (including tax) of the capital. The AGM is scheduled to take place at Anmol Banquet in New Baneshwar, Kathmandu, on Friday, March 21, starting at 11 a.m., where the proposed dividend will be put to a vote.
Following the distribution of bonus shares, the company’s capital will increase, necessitating amendments to the charter and regulations. The meeting will also consider proposals to approve expenses and authorize the board of directors. Additionally, shareholders will discuss and vote on the financial statements of the previous fiscal year, the appointment of auditors for the current year, and the determination of their remuneration.
