Sun Nepal Life Insurance to Issue 27% Rights Shares

Kathmandu – Sun Nepal Life Insurance has received approval from the Nepal Securities Board to issue 27% rights shares. The company will offer 10,696,320 shares to existing shareholders in a 1:0.27 ratio.
The rights shares will be issued at a face value of NPR 100 per share, amounting to a total of NPR 1.06 billion. Currently, the company’s paid-up capital stands at NPR 3.96 billion. After the issuance, the paid-up capital will increase to NPR 5.03 billion.
Nepal SBI Merchant Banking has been appointed as the sales manager for the rights issue.
