Farewell and Welcome Program Held for Lumbini Region Chief of Nepal Insurance Authority

Kathmandu – Nepal Professionals Society (NIPS) Lumbini Chapter organized a farewell and welcome program for the outgoing and incoming Lumbini Region Chiefs of Nepal Insurance Authority (NIA). The event marked the farewell of Purna Bahadur Thapa, who served as the Head of NIA’s Lumbini Region for over two years, and the welcome of his successor, Jamuna Aryal.

Thapa was recognized for his contributions in monitoring, inspecting, and facilitating the operations of life and non-life insurance companies in Lumbini Province. Speakers at the event praised his efforts in strengthening the insurance sector in the region. Jamuna Aryal, the newly appointed Head of NIA’s Lumbini Region, was welcomed with best wishes for a successful tenure.

The program was presided over by Yam Prasad Tiwari, President of NIPS Lumbini Chapter, and conducted by Laxman Subedi, General Secretary of the organization. Former President Kiran Kafle delivered the welcome speech.
