Shikhar Insurance’s Awareness Program on Non-Life Insurance Concludes in Bhaktapur

Kathmandu – The Bhaktapur Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), in collaboration with Shikhar Insurance, organized an orientation program aimed at educating industrialists and business owners on the significance of non-life insurance. The event took place on at Hotel Ghyampedanda in Suryabinayak.
During the program, association president Roshni Maiya Dhaubanja highlighted the crucial role of insurance in mitigating financial risks in business operations. She emphasized the necessity for industrialists and entrepreneurs to safeguard themselves against potential losses caused by natural disasters and other unforeseen emergencies.
Shikhar Insurance CEO Deep Prakash Pandey also addressed the gathering, urging participants to view insurance not just as a formality but as an essential component of financial planning. He assured attendees that the insurance process is straightforward and reassured them that claim settlements would not be difficult.
Providing more in-depth knowledge, Shikhar Insurance General Manager Udit Prasad Kafle elaborated on various aspects of non-life insurance, including property insurance, foreign travel medical insurance, and vehicle insurance. Additionally, Deputy General Manager Suraj Rajvakhak presented details on the company’s history, services, and claims procedures.
A key highlight of the event was the signing of an agreement between the Bhaktapur Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Shikhar Insurance to strengthen insurance services for local businesses. The agreement was signed by President Dhaubanja and CEO Pandey.
The program saw the participation of the association’s senior vice president Krishna Murari Neupane, general secretary Navin Prajapati, and over 120 industrialists and business owners from Bhaktapur district.
