Neco Insurance Calls 29th AGM to Approve 7% Bonus Shares and Cash Dividend

Kathmandu – Neco Insurance Limited has announced the date for its 29th Annual General Meeting (AGM), scheduled for Jestha 9 (May 23) at 11 a.m. at Lisara Reception, Naxal. The company will seek shareholder approval for a set of key proposals, including the distribution of 7% which means 100 unit of bonus shares and 0.3684% cash dividend (including tax) based on the paid-up capital.

The meeting will also consider and pass the annual financial statements of the previous fiscal year, including the annual report. Additionally, shareholders will vote on the appointment of an auditor for the current fiscal year and the determination of the auditor’s remuneration. The board of directors will also be authorized to amend the company’s memorandum of association and articles of regulation as required.

For the purpose of the AGM and dividend entitlement, Neco Insurance has announced its book closure on 30th Baisakh (May 13). Shareholders who are registered with NEPSE by 29th Baisakh (May 12) will be eligible to attend the AGM and claim the proposed dividends.
