Non-Life Insurance Companies Earn Over Rs 32 Billion in Premiums in Q3 FY 2081/82

Kathmandu – Nepal’s non-life insurance sector has recorded a total premium income exceeding Rs 32.12 billion during the third quarter of the current fiscal year 2081/82, according to the latest data published by the Nepal Insurance Authority.

Shikhar Insurance has emerged as the market leader in terms of total premium earnings for the review period. The company collected Rs 4.34 billion in insurance premiums, securing the top position among its peers.

Sagarmatha Insurance followed closely, earning Rs 3.73 billion during the third quarter and securing the second spot in overall premium income and Siddhartha Premier Insurance ranked third, with a total premium income of Rs 3.10 billion during the same period.

The figure reflects the combined performance of the 14 non-life insurance companies currently operating in the country, highlighting steady growth in general insurance coverage across various sectors.
