Sanima Reliance Life Insurance Reports Rs 337.6 Million Net Profit, Life Insurance Fund Jumps 44%

Kathmandu — Sanima Reliance Life Insurance has reported a net profit of Rs 337.6 million up to the end of Chaitra in the current fiscal year, reflecting a 10.77 percent increase compared to Rs 304.8 million during the same period last year.

The company has seen significant growth in its life insurance fund, which surged by 44.07 percent from Rs 12.36 billion last year to over Rs 17.81 billion this fiscal year.

Sanima Reliance’s net interest income rose from Rs 4.01 billion to over Rs 4.65 billion, while total income climbed from Rs 5.22 billion to Rs 6.12 billion. However, total expenses also increased, rising from Rs 4.92 billion last year to exceed Rs 5.78 billion this year.

The company has a paid-up capital of Rs 5.01 billion. Its disaster fund holds over Rs 1.5 billion, and the reserve fund has reached approximately Rs 31 billion.

Despite the overall growth, the company’s earnings per share (EPS) declined slightly from Rs 9.71 last year to Rs 8.98 this year. The net worth per share currently stands at Rs 110.60.
