Liberty Micro Life Insurance Sees Modest Profit Growth In Current Fiscal Year

Kathmandu — Liberty Micro Life Insurance Limited has reported a net profit of Rs 8.9 million by end of Chaitra of the current fiscal year, reflecting a modest 1.96 percent increase from Rs 8.74 million recorded during the same period last year.
The company’s life insurance fund has witnessed significant growth, rising from Rs 5.1 million last year to over Rs 72 million this year.
A notable highlight of the company’s performance is the dramatic rise in net interest income, which soared by 966.36 percent up from Rs 9.87 million to Rs 105.2 million.
Total income also saw substantial growth, jumping from Rs 44.6 million to over Rs 145.3 million. Correspondingly, total expenses rose from Rs 35.9 million to Rs 136.4 million.
The company’s earnings per share (EPS) saw a slight improvement, increasing to Rs 2.26 from last year’s Rs 2.22.
