Nepal Micro Insurance and National PABSON Sign Bilateral Agreement for Insurance Business Cooperation

Kathmandu — Nepal Micro Insurance Company Ltd. has signed a bilateral agreement with National PABSON to expand insurance business collaboration, aiming to benefit both institutions through strategic partnership.
The agreement was formalized during a special ceremony held at the Provincial Office of Nepal Micro Insurance in Gairidhara, Kathmandu on May 14, 2025. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by Mrigendra Rimal, Chief Executive Officer of Nepal Micro Insurance Company Ltd., and Geeta Chettri Rana, President of National PABSON.
Speaking at the event, President Rana expressed her satisfaction at partnering with Nepal Micro Insurance and emphasized the shared commitment to serve communities through inclusive financial protection.
CEO Rimal highlighted the importance of the newly approved “NMIC Student Security Scheme,” a micro insurance product endorsed by the Nepal Insurance Authority, noting it as a key initiative under the partnership.
Also present at the signing ceremony were Deputy CEO of Nepal Micro Insurance Co. Ltd., Mr. Anil Raj Giri, and Senior Vice President of National PABSON, Mr. Surya Bahadur Adhikari.
