Life Insurance Association Nepal Chairman Calls for Nationwide Expansion of Insurance Access

Kathmandu — Marking the 57th anniversary of the Nepal Insurance Authority, Chairman of the Life Insurance Association of Nepal (JEBISAN) and CEO of Citizen Life Insurance, Potshak Raj Poudel, emphasized the growing need to promote insurance as a safeguard against life’s increasing uncertainties.

Addressing the ceremony, Poudel highlighted that insurance is not just a financial product but a vital means to ensure peace of mind by mitigating sudden risks. He pointed out that with challenges on the rise across the country, insurance serves as an essential tool for transferring financial risks that may otherwise plunge individuals into crisis.

Underscoring the significance of collective effort, Poudel stressed that all life insurance companies must move forward with a shared goal of expanding life insurance coverage to every citizen. He called for the insurance sector to unite in building a more financially secure.
