Last Day to Secure Dividend of Himalayan Reinsurance Company

Kathmandu – Today marks the final day to secure the dividend of Himalayan Reinsurance Limited. The company has announced the book closure for dividend on Jestha 11 (May 25) to finalize the list of investors eligible for the upcoming dividend distribution.

According to the company, only shareholders who maintain ownership of the company’s shares until today will be eligible to attend the annual general meeting and receive the proposed dividend.

The company’s board of directors has proposed a dividend payout of 4.50 percent in bonus shares and an additional 0.24 percent in cash (including tax), based on its paid-up capital of Rs. 10.40 billion.

Himalayan Reinsurance will convene its fourth annual general meeting (AGM) on Jestha 25 (June 8) at Nepal Pragya Pratishthan, Kamaladi, Kathmandu. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m., where shareholders will vote to approve the declared dividend, among other agenda items.
