Reliable Nepal Life Calls Eighth AGM, Proposes 12% Bonus Shares and Cash Dividend

Kathmandu – Reliable Nepal Life Insurance Limited has announced its eighth annual general meeting (AGM) to be held on Ashar 2 (June 16) at 11 AM at Amrapali Banquet, Bhatbhateni, Kathmandu.
The AGM will endorse a proposal to distribute a 12 percent bonus share and a 0.63 percent cash dividend (including tax) based on the current paid-up capital of Rs 4.64 billion. This move, once approved, will increase the company’s paid-up capital to Rs 5.19 billion.
In addition to the dividend proposal, the meeting will also pass the annual report, auditor’s report, and other financial statements of the previous fiscal year. It will also appoint an auditor for the current fiscal year and determine their remuneration.
The board of directors is expected to be authorized to implement the capital increment and amend the company’s memorandum of association and regulations, should such amendments be required by regulatory authorities.
The company has announced its book closure on Jestha 26 (June 9) for the AGM and dividend distribution purposes. Shareholders recorded until Jestha 25 (June 8) will be eligible to attend the meeting and claim dividends.
