Supreme Court to Hear Nepal Insurance Authority Chairmanship Dispute from 19th Jestha
Kathmandu — The Supreme Court has scheduled a hearing on the eligibility dispute surrounding Sharad Ojha, Chairman of the Nepal Insurance Authority, for 19th Jestha (June 2).
A joint bench comprising Chief Justice Prakash Man Singh Raut and Justice Nityanand Pandey has ordered the Attorney General’s Office to collect and submit the original appointment file of Chairman Ojha. The documents are to be obtained from the Selection Committee, the Ministry of Finance, or the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers.
The hearing will deliberate on whether to issue an interim order or proceed directly to a final verdict regarding Ojha’s appointment.
