Non-Life Insurance Companies Collect Rs 35.5 Billion in Premiums in 10 Months

Kathmandu — Nepal’s non-life insurance companies have collectively earned Rs 35.5 billion in insurance premiums over the first 10 months of the current fiscal year, according to data released by the Insurance Authority.

Shikhar Insurance Company collected Rs 4.68 billion in premiums, securing the top position among non-life insurers. Sagarmatha Lumbini Insurance Company followed closely, earning Rs 4.04 billion during the same period. Siddhartha Premier Insurance stood in third place with Rs 3.47 billion in total premium income.

Himalayan Everest Insurance reported earnings of Rs 3.08 billion, while IGI Prudential Insurance collected Rs 3.02 billion. Neco Insurance earned Rs 2.70 billion, with NLG Insurance Company following at Rs 2.42 billion. Oriental Insurance brought in Rs 2.25 billion, and both Sanima GIC Insurance and United Ajod Insurance reported equal collections of Rs 2.09 billion each.

Nepal Insurance earned Rs 1.68 billion, and Prabhu Insurance secured Rs 1.43 billion in premiums. Meanwhile, Rastriya Beema Company and National Insurance reported earnings of Rs 1.16 billion and Rs 929.9 million respectively.
