Kathmandu – The government has unveiled a total budget of Rs 1.96411 trillion for the Fiscal Year 2082/83, outlining key priorities in recurrent spending, capital development, and financial management.

According to the announcement, Rs 1.180 trillion has been earmarked for recurrent expenditure, which includes salaries, subsidies, and daily operational costs of the government. Capital expenditure has been allocated Rs 407.89 billion, focusing on infrastructure and development projects. Meanwhile, Rs 375.24 billion has been set aside for financial management, including debt servicing.
