Nepal Micro Insurance Company Concludes Second Annual General Meeting in Chitwan

Kathmandu – Nepal Micro Insurance Company Limited successfully conducted its second Annual General Meeting (AGM) today at Bharatpur Garden Resort, Chitwan.

The meeting was chaired by the company’s Chairman, Ashish Shrestha, and was attended by Board Directors Latika Golyan, Siddhant Jhunjhunwala, and Independent Director Badri Sigdel.

The AGM witnessed the presence of founding shareholders, general shareholders, and members of the media. Also in attendance were the company’s Chief Executive Officer Mrigendranath Rimal, Deputy CEO Anil Giri, and other staff members.

During the meeting, the annual report for the previous fiscal year—presented by the chairman on behalf of the Board of Directors was unanimously approved. Other general proposals were also passed with consensus.

Furthermore, Anup Malakar and Sunita Shrestha were elected unopposed as directors representing the general shareholders.
