Nepal Insurance Announces Book Closure for 40% Right Share Offering

Kathmandu — Nepal Insurance Company Limited has announced that it will close its shareholders’ registration book for one day on Jestha 30 (June 13) to determine eligibility for its upcoming right share issuance.
As per the notice, shareholders who are listed on the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) by the end of trading on Jestha 29 (June 12) will be eligible to apply for the 40 percent right shares. The company has received approval from the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) to issue 6,576,967.76 units of right shares in the ratio of 10:4, with a face value of Rs 100 per share.
While the regulatory approval has been secured, the company has not yet finalized the date for the actual issuance of the right shares.
