Sanima Reliance Life Empowers Over 240 Agents Through Skill Development Training

Kathmandu — In a bid to strengthen its sales force and improve customer engagement, Sanima Reliance Life Insurance recently conducted a two-phase skill development training program for its agents in Dhulikhel and Chitwan.

The program held on Jestha 15 (May 29) in Dhulikhel and Jestha 17 (May 31) at a resort in Chitwan was designed to sharpen the practical skills of agents who play a crucial role in the company’s growing success. Over 240 agents participated in the sessions, which featured renowned Indian trainer and motivational speaker Vijay Kumar Jha.

Jha, known for his expertise in life insurance sales and training across India and beyond, brought decades of experience from his tenure with the Life Insurance Corporation of India. His sessions covered customer psychology, relationship-building, objection handling, and practical strategies for expanding long-term client engagement — all tailored specifically to the Nepali insurance market.

Speaking at the event, CEO Shivnath Pandey emphasized that knowledge without implementation holds little value. Deputy CEO Nirajan Kandel echoed the sentiment, noting that such training equips agents with the skills and mindset to drive both policy sales and customer satisfaction, ultimately boosting the company’s long-term competitiveness.

The event was also attended by Chief Business Officers, regional managers, and other staff, reinforcing the company’s belief in collective growth and continuous learning. Participants praised the sessions for being not only motivational but also deeply practical. Many said they left with renewed confidence and clarity in their roles.
