Liberty Micro Life Expands Insurance Access Through Cooperative Partnerships in Bagmati

Kathmandu — Liberty Micro Life Insurance has signed an agreement with various cooperatives in Bagmati Province to provide affordable insurance services to cooperative members and borrowers. Through this partnership, the company aims to offer financial protection during emergencies while also ensuring the security of the cooperatives’ investments.

According to the company, the agreement includes cooperatives such as Exotic Savings and Credit in Kalopool, Paleswan Savings and Credit in Teku, Jaya Ma Ajima Savings and Credit in Hadigaun, Click Savings and Credit in Ratopool, Pratibha Multipurpose Organization in Lalitpur, Uttarbahini Multipurpose Cooperative in Gokarneshwar, and Jyoti Mirmire Samuhik Savings and Credit in Panauti.

The agreement program was held in the presence of representatives from Liberty Micro Life Insurance and the respective cooperatives. The company has announced that the entire insurance service will be available online, allowing members to access high-quality services at concessional rates.

As part of its broader strategy, Liberty Micro Life is also conducting an insurance awareness campaign to reach additional cooperatives and financial institutions. Highlighting the fact that nearly 60 percent of Nepal’s population still lacks access to insurance, the company emphasized that it is expanding its services with a strong focus on low-income communities that remain underserved.
