Siddhartha Premier Insurance Settles Over Rs 2.43 Billion in Claims in FY 2081/82

Kathmandu – Siddhartha Premier Insurance Limited has paid a total of Rs 2.43 billion to settle 14,194 insurance claims in the 11 months of the fiscal year 2081/82. The company received a total of 15,480 claims during the period.

A significant portion of the claim settlement of Rs 1.911 billion was paid for damages resulting from floods and landslides triggered by incessant rainfall in September last year. The remaining Rs 1.34 billion covered routine claims across various insurance categories.

According to the company, efforts are underway to resolve the remaining claims at the earliest. However, delays have occurred due to incomplete documentation from some policyholders. The company has urged concerned insured individuals to promptly contact the assigned surveyors or visit the nearest branch, provincial office, or the head office to submit the required claim-related documents.
