Himalayan Life Insurance to Hold 18th AGM, Proposes 8% Cash Dividend

Kathmandu — Himalayan Life Insurance Limited is set to convene its eighteenth annual general meeting (AGM) on Ashar 10, 2082 (June 24, 2025). The meeting will begin at 10:30 AM at Amrapali Banquet, Naxal, as per the decision made by the company’s board of directors.
One of the key agendas of the AGM is the proposal to distribute an 8 percent cash dividend (including tax) from the company’s paid-up capital of Rs. 9.14 billion. The dividend will be distributed from the accumulated profit of the last fiscal year.
In addition to the dividend proposal, shareholders will review and approve the annual report and the auditor’s report for the previous fiscal year. The meeting will also appoint an auditor for the current fiscal year and finalize their remuneration.
Further, the AGM will consider a proposal to authorize the board of directors to make necessary amendments to the company’s memorandum and articles of association. It will also approve the expenses incurred during the previous fiscal year.
For the purpose of the meeting and dividend distribution, the company had its book closure on Jestha 28 (June 11). As a result, only those shareholders who were registered with NEPSE by Jestha 27 (June 10) will be eligible to attend the AGM and receive the proposed dividend.
