Himalayan Everest Insurance CEO Anju Shrestha Receives ‘Women Tabloid Award 2025’

Kathmandu — Anju Shrestha, Chief Executive Officer of Himalayan Everest Insurance, has been honored with the prestigious Women Tabloid Award 2025 under the category of Best Female CEO in Strategic Leadership. The award recognizes her exemplary leadership and outstanding contribution to Nepal’s insurance industry.

Shrestha, with over 30 years of experience in the sector, began her professional journey as an assistant officer at the former Himalayan Insurance. Her steady rise through the ranks is a testament to her dedication, resilience, and strategic vision.

She officially took charge as CEO of Himalayan Everest Insurance on Bhadra 30, 2080 (September 16, 2023). Since assuming leadership, Shrestha has prioritized innovation, customer-centric service, and sustainable growth, positioning the company as a forward-looking player in the Nepali insurance market.

An alumna of Shankar Dev Campus, Shrestha holds a Master’s degree in Management. Her strong academic foundation, combined with decades of industry experience, has made her a respected and influential figure in Nepal’s financial sector.
