Prema Rajya Lakshmi Singh Takes Oath as Chairperson of National Life Insurance

Kathmandu — Prema Rajya Lakshmi Singh has officially taken the oath of office and secrecy as the chairperson of the board of directors of National Life Insurance Company. The oath was administered by Sharad Ojha, Chairperson of the Nepal Insurance Authority, during a formal ceremony held in Kathmandu.

Singh was unanimously re-elected as chairperson during the company’s 37th Annual General Meeting. The meeting also led to the reconstitution of the company’s board of directors.

Ojha congratulated Singh on her renewed leadership, expressing his best wishes for a successful tenure and emphasizing the importance of strong governance in the insurance sector.

The ceremony was attended by key figures, including Sushil Dev Subedi, Executive Director of the Nepal Insurance Authority, and Suresh Prasad Khatri, Chief Executive Officer of National Life Insurance Company.
