Sun Nepal Life Conducts Special AML/CFT Training in Dhulikhel

Kathmandu — Sun Nepal Life Insurance has successfully conducted a special training program focused on Anti-Money Laundering and Combating the Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT). The event was held in a grand setting at a hotel in Dhulikhel, bringing together key leadership and managerial staff from across the company.

The training was attended by Chief Executive Officer Rajkumar Aryal, Senior Deputy CEO Kabi Phuyal, Chief Marketing Officer Ganesh Chaulagai, along with department heads, provincial heads, and senior managers. The session was led by Subash Bhandari, Head of the Legal Department.

The program offered an in-depth discussion on the current AML/CFT Act, highlighting key legal provisions, reporting obligations, the role of the Financial Information Unit (FIU), and both policy and practical considerations for the insurance sector.
