Kathmandu – Life Insurance Corporation (Nepal) Limited (LIC Nepal) has called on its shareholders to promptly claim their unclaimed dividends and IPO distribution amounts that have remained untouched for five years.

In a notice issued by the company, it reminded shareholders that its 17th Annual General Meeting held on Shrawan 24, 2076 BS had approved a 35.53 percent cash dividend. Despite this, several shareholders have yet to collect their entitled dividends.

In addition, LIC Nepal has also urged shareholders who were partially paid or did not receive amounts during the company’s IPO issuance and distribution to come forward and collect the pending sums.

The company has asked concerned shareholders to visit its office within the next one month along with necessary identification and documents to claim the unclaimed dividend or IPO-related amount.

LIC Nepal has further clarified that any amount unclaimed within this stipulated timeframe will be transferred to the Investor Protection Fund by prevailing regulations.
