Rastriya Beema Company Concludes Third Annual General Meeting, Reviews Two Fiscal Years

Kathmandu – The third annual general meeting (AGM) of government-owned Rastriya Beema Company Limited (RBCL) was successfully held today at Anmol Catering Services Pvt. Ltd. in Shankhamul. The meeting was chaired by Dinesh Upadhyaya, Chairman of the company’s Board of Directors.

The AGM formally endorsed the annual reports for fiscal years 2075/76 and 2076/77 presented by the chairman on behalf of the board. The reports included audited financial statements, balance sheets as of the end of Ashar for both years, profit and loss accounts, and cash flow statements.

Addressing the shareholders, Chairman Upadhyaya pledged to conduct upcoming AGMs in a timely manner and reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening the company’s operations and governance. He also expressed appreciation to the shareholders for their active participation and support in organizing the delayed meetings despite challenging circumstances.

Chief Executive Officer Dr. Shivahari Shrestha responded to shareholder inquiries during the meeting, stating that the company’s core financial indicators remain strong and reflect resilience despite external pressures.

Shareholders in attendance welcomed the company’s initiative to hold the pending AGMs within a single year and commended the leadership for transparency and accountability.

For the purpose of the meeting, the company had closed its shareholder register on Ashar 23 (July 7). Only shareholders registered with the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) as of Ashar 22 (July 6) were eligible to participate.
