MetLife Nepal Wins ‘Social Media Initiative of the Year’ at Insurance Asia Awards 2025

Kathmandu – MetLife Nepal has been honored with the prestigious Social Media Initiative of the Year – Nepal title at the Insurance Asia Awards 2025, held in Singapore last week. The recognition highlights the success of MetLife Nepal’s innovative digital campaign promoting the Health Risk Assessment feature available on the One by MetLife app.
The award-winning five-week campaign focused on educating users about the importance of health monitoring and how policyholders can actively participate in managing their own wellbeing. Using only a smartphone camera, the app’s Health Risk Assessment feature allows users to check their health status in real time through a simple facial scan—without requiring any additional equipment. This aligns with MetLife’s broader mission of bringing preventive healthcare into everyday digital lifestyles.
The campaign recorded significant outcomes, including 10,000 new app registrations, increased customer interest, and strong evidence of user engagement and app preference. These results underscore MetLife Nepal’s commitment to offering accessible and inclusive digital solutions that resonate with the evolving needs of modern consumers.
