Sagarmatha Lumbini Insurance Achieves Record Rs 5 Billion in Premium Collection

Kathmandu — Sagarmatha Lumbini Insurance Company Limited (Salico) has marked a historic milestone by earning over Rs 5 billion in insurance premiums in the fiscal year 2081/82, positioning itself among the top-performing companies in Nepal’s insurance sector.
According to company data, Salico collected a total premium income of Rs 5 billion, reflecting a notable 32% growth compared to the Rs 3.76 billion it earned in the previous fiscal year 2080/81. This marks the highest premium income in the company’s history since its establishment.
The company credits this remarkable achievement to its strategic business approach, sound operational policies, and the dedicated efforts of its workforce. “This success is a result of our effective business strategy and the outstanding 100 percent performance of our capable employees,” the company stated in an official release.
To commemorate the accomplishment, Sagarmatha Lumbini Insurance organized a grand celebration involving its employees and stakeholders.
