Gelmu Lama Becomes Top Agent of IME Life Maharajgunj Branch

Kathmandu — Gelmu Lama, an agent of IME Life Insurance Company, has achieved historic success by becoming the top-performing agent of the Maharajgunj branch in the fiscal year 2081/82. Lama secured this distinction by conducting life insurance business worth Rs 11.34 million under her code — a remarkable accomplishment in Nepal’s competitive life insurance market.

Since joining the Maharajgunj branch, Lama has shown exceptional commitment to the profession, selling a total of 32 insurance policies by the end of Ashar. Her efforts have not only placed her at the top of her branch but also earned her selection for the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) 2026, a globally recognized honor awarded to top-performing insurance professionals.

Speaking about her achievement, Lama credited the company’s agent training and development programs for helping her build confidence and skills. “I am very happy that I have been able to do insurance business worth millions of rupees in a short period after joining IME Life,” she said.
